Over the years, it has grown from a regional pioneer into a reliable partner for municipalities, utilities, and industry, delivering efficient and scalable renewable heat solutions.
Today, solar.nahwaerme.at combines technical know-how with innovative business models such as ESCO services and energy storage. Looking ahead, the company aims to expand internationally, accelerate decarbonization in the industrial sector, and play a key role in transforming energy systems toward climate neutrality.

Christian Holter
Christian Holter is an experienced professional in the field of solar thermal energy and sustainable heating solutions. He has built a strong career working on large-scale renewable heat projects and innovative energy systems. Over the years, he has contributed to the development and implementation of advanced solar thermal applications in both industrial and district heating contexts. His expertise includes project development, system integration, and the optimization of energy infrastructure. He has played a key role in promoting efficient, low-carbon heating solutions across different sectors. Currently, he focuses on expanding use of solar heat and efficiency in industry and solar district heating concepts. In this role, he works closely with municipalities and industrial partners to implement sustainable energy solutions. His work emphasizes the integration of solar thermal systems into existing heating networks. He is committed to supporting the transition away from fossil fuels toward renewable heat sources. Christian Holter combines technical knowledge with strategic insight to deliver practical and scalable projects. His career reflects a strong dedication to sustainability, innovation, and the future of clean energy.
He personally founded all heat supply companies and is still acting as managing director in all of them.
Staff

Gerhard Adam
Gerhard Adam has over 12 years of experience in development cooperation. He served as Head of Office of the Austrian Development Agency in Bhutan, acting as Austria’s resident representative and leading policy dialogue with government institutions and international donors. He previously held senior management roles in a leading Austrian human rights NGO, with expertise in governance, inclusive development and SDG-oriented programme design. He also co-chaired the steering committee of a renewable energy and energy efficiency programme in Bhutan, with a focus on solar thermal solutions. Gerhard is responsible for international project development and carbon finance in emerging economies at solarnahwaerme.

Moritz Schubert
Moritz has over 15 years of experience in the solar thermal business. He started in R&D for solar cooling and solar district heating and later he developed different solar district heating projects in Europe and a solar cooling project in Central America with international financing. At solarnahwaerme, Moritz is responsible for project development of industrial heat projects in emerging economies and of district heating projetc. He also oversees the marketing activities of the company.

Patrick Soo
Patrick leads the overall operations of the company Solid Asia Energy Service pte. Ltd., specializing in large-scale, custom solar thermal installations tailored to local conditions. He drives strategic business and project development, builds strong relationships with clients and partners, and collaborates with research institutions and government bodies to advance sustainable, renewable energy solutions.

Victoria Vehovec
Victoria is the financial accounting manager at solarnahwaerme. A certified bookkeeper with experience across various industries, she brings a structured and detail-oriented approach to financial administration.

Franz Radovic
Franz Radovic is a co-founder and previously held an executive role in the solar thermal industry. He is a co-partner in different heat supply companies of the group. His special skills are project leading for installing and commissioning of several solar thermal plant types, e.g. solar cooling, district heating, process heat, domestic hot water, and so on. Examples: China (2008 Qingdao, Olympic Sailing Center), Singapore UWC, Kosovo EU Building, Brussels (Renewable Energy House), etc. At SolarNahwärme, he is focused on O&M and controls.

Frederik Holter
Frederik Holter has been working for the past 10 years in construction and maintenance of large scale solar thermal plants. He is responsible for daily operation of the heat supply business and for maintenance.
